As old timers are considered vehicles, which are older than 30 years. The business with this cars developed in Europe to a weighty, to a large extent stable industry. To fair data in the European Union annually approximately 16 billion euro with the sales and with service achievements are converted approximately around old timers. Over 55.000 humans are durably or partly in this business field busy.

In Germany the statistics takes in account conditions from January 1.3 million motor vehicles, which became for the first time certified to at the end of 1975 and so that the old timer status to have freshly reached.
